Project Manager

Our client is one of the world's leading engineering contractors for the design and construction of gas handling plants - as from the head storage, throughout the gas chain.

Description of main activities:

●    Manages the execution of underground gas storage projects on behalf the company. (S)he is responsible for the performance of execution and financial results;

●    Assigns and approves project resources and task in co-operation with the Head of Departments. (S)he manages the appointment of project staff;

●    Takes care of appropriate project control and reporting towards the clients and also internally;

●    Owner of the project execution procedure and schedule. Takes care of maintaining the actual status (schedule, performance, resources and costs);

●    Manages contractual interfaces between project partners and resolves conflicts;

●    Manages contractual issues with the client and resolves conflicts including variation of work, insurance etc.;

●    Approves financial commitments (purchase orders, subcontracts etc.) for the project as per project procedure and as per company's list of signatory authorities;

●    Takes responsibility for appropriate Quality and Health, Safety & Environmental protection within her/his project;

Educational background/skills and knowledge:

●    Graduate level Engineering;

●    Min 10 years experience in gas processing;

●    Min 5 years experience in project management;

●    Decisive;

●    Determined;

●    Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and French;

●    You are enthusiastic in working abroad;

●    Knowledge of German is advantage;
