Microbiological Analyst

Our client is provides the Environmental and Food testing for several costumers. They are active is multiple disciplines; Food Microbiology, Water Microbiology and Chemistry.

Function

The Microbiological Analyst monitors the quality  of the products. (S)he performs all common microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products and intermediates. Registering the test results in the quality contributes to giving an accurate final verdict of the overall quality of the products.

You will provide different tests like on salmonella, elisa, yeats, sugars, BSE, fun chi and lots of others.

Competences

●    A completed BSc degree in microbiology

●    Work experience in a QC department with a quality system is a plus

●    Experience within the food and / or environmental industry is a desirable

●    Enthusiasm, motivation and positive attitude

●    A good command of Dutch or English

Tasks

The most common microbiological analysis:

●    On food: aerobic code, aerobic/anaerobic spore; bacillus cereus; campylobacter species; clostrida sulphite reducing; clostridum perfingers; coagulase positive Staphylococci; coliforms enterobacteriaceae; escherichia coli; yeats and molds; lactobacilli; lactic Acid Bacteria; listeria monocytogenes; salmonella

●    On water: Legionella species and filtration of arobic code; coliformen; enterococcen; yeats and molds; escherichia

Other information

●  Full time job; long time job/ project based

●  Place of work: Oosterhout - Netherland (near Breda)
